The client commissioned an illustrated cover for his new release “Hey Dude!”, an upbeat synthpop album with a serious moral call to action. The client had a strong vision for the scene to be illustrated: a cartoonishly friendly and enthusiastic male character shaking the hand of an acquaintance. He also wanted a bright, cheerful color palette, and a green shirt for the person facing away from the audience (mentioned in one of the songs).
