DWELLER PLANET CHARACTERS
CONTRACT CHARACTER DESIGN AND WORLDBUILDING FOR TROUBLE BOOK CLUB
These are character designs for a webcomic that takes place within the fictional Dweller Universe, a sci-fi worldbuilding project currently being created by Trouble Book Club. The comic writer wanted a strong character artist to develop visual representations of the characters in his comic plot/script. I interviewed the writer regarding demographics, history, and personality of each character in order to create the visual designs for the comic. In addition to the individual characters, I’m also designing a cohesive aesthetic for each of the 3 cultural regions on the Dweller planet (Reyad, Santos, and Nantes). This project is ongoing and will eventually include many more characters than the ones seen here.
