WTS GLASS CEILING BASELINE REPORT
GRAPHIC DESIGN FOR WTS INTERNATIONAL (PUGET SOUND SEATTLE CHAPTER)
The Puget Sound Seattle Chapter of WTS International recently conducted research and an industry survey to determine whether women or nonbinary-identifying transportation professionals face a glass ceiling limiting their career advancement. Findings were shared with the public via the chapter’s 2024 WTS Glass Ceiling Baseline Report.
I had the privilege of providing graphic design for this important document that will inform the Chapter’s advocacy efforts and act as a baseline for subsequent reports. WTS members and I collaborated to create an interactive PDF report, printed copies of the report, and an accompanying one-pager. I reviewed the report content and identified opportunities for relevant imagery, along with many powerful, candid statements from industry professionals, which I highlighted throughout the document via a bold pull quote treatment.
During this project I was extremely impressed by the candid and insightful responses of the professionals surveyed and the variety of issues they delved into. Getting to learn about their struggles and help amplify their voices was very satisfying.
