Squishy T. rex

As a new designer at SmartLab Toys, I jumped into this project in the middle of production. The lead designer worked on the packaging while I completed the booklet design and instruction sheet. I coordinated with our writer and toy designer to develop the best strategy for communicating assembly instructions to a young audience (ages 8+), and provided detailed direction to our off-site photographer. For the finished design, I focused first on creating an intuitive grid layout for the crucial information, then added visual motifs from the booklet, in order to create a functional, on-brand, visually appealing instruction sheet.
